Getting Arty in Harrogate

As well as excellent shops, restaurants, bars and businesses, Harrogate is home to a great selection of cultural diversions. This includes an array of art galleries and studios.

Pablo Picasso said ‘The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.’ So if the grind has left you feeling a bit grubby what you need could be a taste of culture. If so, the following Harrogate galleries could have just what you need.

Rapture Gallery

The Rapture Gallery exhibits several artists and various styles. The current collection focuses on painter Peter Hill, as well as other notable names such as Lucia Smith, Eric Moss, Brian Anson and Patrick Smith.
