“Paella Paella”……A Spanish night out at the beautifully refurnished La Tasca

It's got to be said, there's something so comforting about a dimly lit room, Spanish music dancing past conversing diners, sipping sangria and the smells of smoked paprika, lemon and garlic filling the air and there's no better place to find all this and more but at La Tasca Harrogate.

The re-launch of the new look restaurant took place in Harrogate just two weeks ago and those who were lucky enough to attend will have had the pleasure of experiencing some of the most beautifully fragrant and tantalising paella, teaming with seafood, spice and plenty of soul you've ever tried! The bubbling atmosphere was accompanied by authentic, live Spanish music and the perfect taste of sangria upon arrival. If your looking for a restaurant that delivers the great tastes of Spain and a friendly and attentive bunch of staff then I'd look no further.

The food was faultless, perfect little bar snacks like white deep fried fish with lemon and mozzarella teamed with salty Spanish cured meats...all before the marvellously, fresh cooked (in front of us I might add) Seafood Paella. The main attraction, a frying pan bigger than the boot of my car, filled with the best looking paella I've seen yet. Oh and there was plenty to go around!

The night was all topped off with a 'just the right strength' mojito...or two! This is somewhere I'll  certainly be dining at again and if you haven't been, spoil yourself this weekend with a little Spanish soul food.
