MEGER For many years we have been looking for a permanent home for CBC. So far the Lord has not seen fit to provide that place for us yet however just recently he has opened a door of possibilities. Since before May of 1999, CBC has been considering a merger with a smaller fellowship that is located in the village of Kettlesing. This congregation is British and for the most part the congregation is growing older. |

They fear that the work may close if something does not change for them. Through the years they have been searching for a Pastor but with no success. Their search for a Pastor and our search for a building has brought our paths together. Kettlesing is about 2 miles from Menwith Hill Station and about 5 miles from Harrogate. The building can seat over 120 but it has no Sunday School space or fellowship hall. However, there is a lot of land around it and if God leads us to merge together; we plan to buy one acre of land for parking and to build the necessary room needed. In the meantime, about 300 yards away is the new village hall. We plan to rent for our Sunday School and Awana programmes. |
