Churches Together in Northallerton

This page lists the churches working together to share God's love in the area around Northallerton with contact details where available. All mainstream churches entered into a formal Covenant Relationship in November 1999; many churches are open at some time during the week; some serve coffee on market days (Wednesday and Saturday). Visitors are most welcome at the Churches Together Centre and Bookshop at the bottom of the drive to the United Reformed Church on the High Street, Northallerton, open 10am - 4pm most weekdays, tel: 01609 770739.

Regional Leaders Forum: Office. Regular meetings and information resourcing for church leaders in the area - contact the office for more info.
Events 2003 included "The Event in the Tent" held 27 - 31 May, Hollybush Youth Camp held 23 - 26 May and "On the Move" street barbecues, 2 - 5 July.
2004: December, proposals to adopt Fairtrade status for Northallerton.
2005: 'On the Move' came to the High Street in July
2005: Marriage courses commence in November, with a Marriage Party on Saturday 12 November at New Life Baptist: More info available or tel: 01609 775396 (church office)

Hollybush Christian Fellowship: Office and website. Hollybush meets for worship on Sundays (10:30am & 6:30pm) and on Friday evenings - with a wide range of national and international speakers.

All Saints: Sunday services: 10:30am and 6pm

Brompton Methodist: Sunday services: 10:30am and 6pm

Maunby Methodist: 10:30am Sunday morning worship

New Life Baptist: Office and website

Northallerton Methodist: Office and website. 10:30am Sunday morning worship with All Age worship usually on the first Sunday each month. Evening servics in Romanby chapel. The Coffee Pot is open on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings from 10-12.

Northallerton United Reformed (Zion): Sunday services: 10am (every week) and 6pm (except July & August)

Orchard Fellowship: 10:30am Sunday morning worship

Romanby Methodist: Sunday services: 10:30am and 6pm

Sacred Heart Roman Catholic: Masses: Saturday 7pm, Sunday 8:30am and 10:30am (website under review)

Salvation Army: meets in Northallerton Town Hall

St Helen's, Ainderby Steeple: 11am Sunday morning worship. Last Sunday each month: 7pm healing service

St James, Romanby: 10:30am Sunday morning worship

St Thomas, Brompton: 9:00am Parish Communion; 10:00am Family service (except fourth Sunday)

Thornton le Beans Methodist: Sunday services: 10:30am morning worship and 6:30pm evening worship.
