... to say Thank You or Please, Help or I'm Desperate. OK, so God's looking out for us all, but we're here as part of his 'body' to help where we can.  And we're sorry we don't have a picture of God, our heavenly Father, on this page.  Here are a few pointers as a start:

To say 'Thank You' It has been said that the shortest prayer is "Help". The next easiest must be "Thank you, God", indeed, the Bible encourages thankfulness in all circumstances (I Thessalonians 5 17 & 18). That's not always easy, so here are a few links for other circumstances:

Help with Finance / Cash Flow The Hope Centre, based in Albert Street, Harrogate, have run a debt counseling centre up to 2005.

Bereavement, despair, physical or emotional illness Contact your local priest, minister or pastor where possible (links via Service times). Some churches and Christian groups in Harrogate offer accredited counselling services, such as Wellspring, affiliated to UCHM Counselling, based in Huddersfield, who are quoted as offering "counselling to anyone in need, as the counselling will only include issues of faith if you request this. There is no set charge for this service, but clients are encouraged to make some regular donation towards their counselling."
