Grove Road Methodist Church

Grove Road Methodist Church is found between Skipton Road and King's Road in Harrogate. Map. There are close links with Bar Methodist Chapel and the Bilton Area Group of Churches Together.

Facilities for the disabled include wheelchair ramps to the church and most of the meetings rooms as well as an induction loop.

Recent Grove Road Events:
Coffee mornings are regularly run - including on Saturday 18 November 2006 from 10am - 11:30am.
Youth services - hand in hand with others from Bilton churches - are being held in late 2006 and into 2007.
The ongoing ecumenical partnership discussions have been held at Grove Road halls. A joint church council with Bar chapel is under proposal in the autumn of 2006.

The church was the venue for the Welcome service for Rev Dr Roberta Topham as minister for Bar and Pannal Methodist churches on 4 September 2005.
Rev Henk Greenway retired from Bar and Grove Road chapels at the end of June 2005; Rev Shaun Swithenbank was given pastoral care for the congregation.
The Church Anniversary Dinner, with entertainment by Double Image, was on Saturday 14 June 2004, at Grove Road.
The 2003 District Network Summer Festival: on Tuesday 10 June, 2:30pm was followed by afternoon tea.

November, 2003, saw the Christmas Tree Festival. Proceeds to HYPeR, Berwick Grange & church funds.
Friday 28 November, 7.30 pm: Opening Service followed by Cheese & Wine (tickets £3.00).
Saturday 29 November, 10 to 4 pm: Church open for viewing
Saturday 29 November, 7.30pm Concert by the Highside Singers from Kirkby Malzeard.
Sunday 30 November from 2 pm: Church open for viewing
Sunday 30 November, 6pm Evening Service
