Thursday Meals

Background:
Many years ago, the Salvation Army in Harrogate organised meals for the homeless. With the closure of the Citadel in the closing years of the last millenium, a rota was organised through Churches Together, with volunteer teams from around twenty different groups and churches helping to cook and serve nourishing meals.

Harrogate Baptist Church (Map) have generously opened their doors and kitchen to welcome the guests in recent years. Ranging from the lonely to the homeless, numbers vary each week from single figures to a few handfuls.
