Musical Style Based
on radio stations:
Radio 4 illustrates the varied repertoire of the Daily Service
and Sunday's Morning Worship - tends to be 'traditional', to broadcast
standards and peppered with 'newer' songs from the last fifty years.
Radio 3 majors on the traditional and only occasionally includes
Jazz items!
Drums appear in most items on Radio 2.
Radio 1 includes rap, dance, pop and synthesized drums.
Local radio provides a mix of various styles, mostly popular material
from the last few decades.
Classic FM intersperses popular traditional classics with regular promotional
adverts.
Folk music tends to be a guitar, flute or recorder, perhaps even
a string bass and some percussion.
Soloists: where the music is led by a sole musician, usually on
guitar.
Service type listing Holy Communion/Eucharist/Breaking of Bread, Worship and Teaching and will include whether the ministry of God's healing is offered.

With translation facilities The secretary has a list of congregations with other language speakers, although no churches in Harrogate have translation booths. A Polish Mass is offered once a month at St Robert's RC
With comfortable seats Yes! And the type of coffee available after the service, the number and quality of the toilets.... in development!
