Churches
Together in Harrogate
is the interdenominational grouping of the Christian Churches in the town
and neighbouring communities.
Communication
Churches Together groups depend on strong communication links to make things happen.
How to arrange publicity to Churches in Harrogate
Churches Together in Harrogate uses its website as a key tool. Requests for publication of events which build up God's kingdom are usually transferred to the Events pages on receipt. Where space allows, events are copied to the News page.
Requests for the distribution of Posters, Invitations to church leaders or churches are welcomed. Please supply:
65 A5 or folded A4 posters for (Harrogate) churches, leaders and secretaries/offices, or:
45 (Harrogate) church leader invitations or:
100 A5 or folded A4 posters (for circulation to also include Knaresborough, Nidderdale, Ripon & Wetherby)
Please ensure folded posters and flyers arrive two weeks before the mailing dates noted below. CTH covers the onward postage and distribution costs. We are unable to supply address lists nor 'vicar addresses' for obvious reasons. Requests for email circulation are not limited by these dates; avoid large files for email forwarding as not every minister has broadband.
Please include as much of the following on Posters, Invitations and Web entries: Event Name, Venue (name, room, disability access [Harrogate church details already recorded], sign language availability, post code), Date(s), Times, Tickets (offering to defray costs, ticket availability and ordering and address, costs, concessions, postage?), Contacts for info/access/venue (name, telephone, address, email) and Organising Group (Name, website) - our readers appreciate this sort of info. Any logo or picture welcome on an email as a .jpg file. Please email simple text rather than Publisher or Mac documents - thank you. Email forwarding requests: please say to whom or which group the email is to be forwarded.
And... you're welcome to add this notice to the foot of flyers advertising events advertised within this website: "This and many other events in the Christian churches of Harrogate are listed on the Churches Together website: www.ctharrogate.org.uk" - available as a jpg (60kb)
