Monday 8 March: Regional Faiths Forum: Information from Leeds University
6-8pm, CVS Priory Street Centre, 15 Priory Street, York. CVS are helping people from different faiths to have a voice on decisions about their lives and communities; ateam from Leeds University have been undertaking research and have made recommendations about how such a forum might operate:regional. Saturday 13 March: Global Partnerships
10am-3:30pm, St Mark's (Map). A day of information and ideas for involving your church in the wider family of the World Church. Speakers include Bishops John Packer and James Bell, Archdeacon Dhilo Canagasabey, with representatives from CMS, Crosslinks, Interserve, Mother's Union, SAMS, SPCK, TearFund and USPG. £5. Saturday 13 March: The Kiev Singers
7:30pm, St Mark's (Map). These professional musicians from the National Philarmonic Society of the Ukraine, are performing Ukrainian church music and Folk songs, accompanied by the bandura and organ/piano. Raising funds to help Ukrainian orphan children as well as children still affected by the Chernobyl disaster. Donations, please on the night. More details available or tel 544528:.

12 - 14 March: 'In the Melting Pot': The Middle East today
Wydale Hall, Scarborough (Map). Organised by the Church Mission Society. Residential conference looking at issues for Christians: Islam, Israel, Iraq, Evangelism, Globalisation.
