2 November: North Yorkshire Forum for Voluntary Organisations AGM & Conference

7:30pm at Grove Road Methodist church hall (Map), exploring how peculiar the church can be.

11/12/13 November: The Wizard of Oz - St Peter's Play
7:30pm each day, with a 2:30pm matinee on Saturday. Tickets £6, children under 12 £4. Tickets available from St Peter’s Church Office on Wednesday & Friday mornings.

11 November: Jubillee Debt Campaign
7:30pm St Aelred's Church Hall. "Make Poverty History" with Charity Musamba, (Jubilee Zambia) speaking on Trade Justice and Debt Cancellation, and Stephen Rand (co-chair JDC). More info available. The local Jubillee Debt Campaign group have a webpage on this website with further background and links.

Saturday 13 November: New Wine Worship Skills Day
9:30am - 5pm or so. St Georges, Leeds (Map). With Neil Bennetts, Gareth Robinson, Anne Coles, Mick Spratt (Wigwam, PA and multimedia) and local host Jane Morris. 20 November: CT Studd tour
7:30pm at St Andrew's, (Map). Featuring a fast moving multi-media presentation of inspiring and present-day stories of God’s work among the poor. Signpost International are touring with this deeply moving theatrical drama of the life of CT Studd - international cricketer and missionary pioneer. Free admission. 21 November: Nursing Homes CD recording
2:30pm at Starbeck Methodist (Map); all welcome to record a CD for use in Nursing homes for their services. Email SMC for more info

22-23 November: Through a glass darkly : Churches Leaders conference
Ministers, pastors and church leaders' conference to draw together our gathered vision for the area for this two day residential conference at Wydale Hall (Map). Thursday 25 November: CMS Annual Supper: "30+ years in East Africa"

Saturday 27 November: Bible Society Bicentenary Celebration: York Minster
