Friday 10 September: Alpha prayer evening, Knaresborough, Gracious Street Methodist church are working with other churches across the area for this Alpha course. Prayer and preparation from 7:30pm. Wednesday 8 September: Starbeck Mid Week Worship
7pm onwards. Prayer, worship, study or meditation and fellowship. Open to all to come and go as needs be. This week marks the third anniversary. More details from Martin Brassington.

Yorkshire Churches section of the YTB website, please11/12 September: Church Heritage Weekend
Co-organised by Yorkshire Tourist Board. Now a regular event, North Yorkshire's Church Heritage Weekend is an opportunity to enjoy the richness of God's gifts and the splendour and peace of the places of worship throughout Yorkshire. 15 September: Churches Together Service
6pm at Bilton Grange URC. Organised by Bilton Area Group

Friday 17 September: Titus and Steel Machine, plans in hand for a special gig at St Peter's, Harrogate; organised by United Gigs - the youth of the district working together to bring Christian bands and gigs into the area.

Tuesday 21 September: UN Day of Prayer for Peace
from 12 noon at the Friends Meeting House. A Meeting for Worship after the manner of Quakers will be held over lunchtime. Doors open at 12, Worship starts at 12.30 and finishing at 1.00. Please feel to bring a poem or other reading on peace to share. All are welcome - please feel able to bring your sandwiches - drinks will be provided.

11am: Service of Thanksgiving at Wesley
12 noon: Lunch: light soup at St Peter's, or three courses (for £2) at Wesley
1:30pm: Harrogate Operatic Players Concert Party at Wesley, followed by community singing and tea.
