11:30am:Harrogate town centre: walk of witness procession from Wesley to the Cenotaph war memorial for a short service with hymns, reading, prayer and an address by Fr Lawrie Hulme.
12 noon, following the walk of witness through Starbeck: A Dramatisation of Passion of Jesus Christ.  A shorter play by Katy Wilde.  Starbeck Methodist church
12noon-3pm: Prayer Labyrinth, Baptist church hall, all welcome for this opportunity for quiet reflective prayer
7pm: See the Mel Gibson Film "The Passion" at St Andrew's, Starbeck. All over 18 welcome.
7:30pm Passion Readings and Music, Christ Church on The Stray
7:30pm Stainer's Crucifixion at Trinity Methodist

7:00pm Rock ConneXion at St Peter's, town centre
7:30pm "Calvary": play and interactive worship led by the highly acclaimed Riding Lights Theatre Company; at St Mark's, Leeds Road - admission free, retiring collection.

Lent at St Mark's, Leeds Road
The church has produced its own book for Lent: "Marking Lent" available from the church (£3.95) with daily readings, prayers and pictures from Ash Wednesday to Easter Day.
Wednesdays at 8pm: 16, 23 February, 2, 9, 16 March: starting with a time of worship the Lent course provides five options:
The Journey of the Son - how Jesus brings hope and encouragement in times of testing
Encouragement, joy and thanksgiving - the pioneering inistry of St Paul based on Phillipians
Seven whole days not one - being a Christian in the world of work, the bishop's lent course
Saying it ... not just with flowers - a practical and creative group using many natural materials
