In the Church Pavilion at the Great Yorkshire Showground. The theme of the journey of life is explored. The Displays include computer images, a baptistry and various posters.

The main Church denominations are joining together again to make sure that there is a Great Christian Presence at the Great Yorkshire Show . Each year, the Churches offer a display in their pavilion on the showground, next to the Main Ring, to affirm the relevance of the Christian life today.
Since last year's event, the pavilion has been enhanced to make it more accessible. This year's display should not be missed by show-goers; the theme is “The Journey – moments that touch our lives”. Over 75% of the population say that they have links of some sort with a faith community. For many, this will be experienced around key points in their life….perhaps at a birth, a wedding or a bereavement. At times such as these we are more “receptive” to sensing that there is more to life than the humdrum routine.
Visitors to the pavilion will see three displays that explore these three important moments in the life journey and explore how the Church marks them in Baptism, Marriage and Funeral services. If they wish, visitors will be able to respond to what they see and hear by writing down prayer requests and placing them in a specially designed “prayer pool”. On the floor, visitors will notice footprints leading them round the displays, helping them on “The Journey”. They will be able to take a footprint and write on it their hopes (and fears) for the future and add it to the display. By the end of the Show, we should have a well-worn pathway showing something of our hopes and fears for the future. There will also be a bookstall of Christian books and material. Stewards will be on hand to answer any questions that visitors might wish to ask
