7 - 14 June: Retreat Holiday to Provence
The first holiday organised and led by of Dr Stephanie Rybak, WYEC officer from 1998 - 2005, with her new venture Retreat Holidays. Departure from Leeds-Bradford airport; seven nights en suite half board £599, no single supplement; to include transfers and three local excursions. Based at the Hotel le Colombier, near Forcalquier in the Alpes de Haute Provence

25 June: Nidd Chorale, Birstwith
7:30pm, St James, Birstwith. Part of this year's Nidderdale Festival, comprising music by English composers. The main work will be Stanford's “Revenge”, a piece set to music from a poem by Tennyson. 'Nidd Chorale are very popular in the dale and demand for tickets is likely to be high'. £8 from the Pateley Bridge Tourist Office or from John Mitchell.
