Sunday 3 September: Rev Christine Gillespie: Woodlands Methodist
6:30pm at Woodlands Methodist Church (Map): service of welcome at the start of Christine's ministry in Harrogate. The service will also mark Rev Colin Emerson's new, additional ministry at Starbeck Methodist Church.

Thursday 14 September: Global Call to Action against Poverty
The GCAP worldwide ‘month of mobilisation' comences today. Its stated aim is to engage the public, put pressure on decision-makers and build momentum for further campaigning. 14 September: Alpha prayer evening
7:30pm: Gracious Street Methodist Church, Knaresborough, is hosting the Alpha Prayer Evening, an uplifting evening of praise, worship and prayer, joining with Churches around the country to pray for Alpha courses and the transformation of our community. 14 September: Discovering your family history: Church and Parish records
7:30pm at Alborough Church (Map). An evening learning how to trace your family tree led by Keith Sweetmore, Archives Development Manager at Northallerton County Records Office and Ceryl Evans, Head of Museum and Arts at Harrogate Borough Council. Friday 15 September: Quiet Afternoon

18 September: Rev Peter Askew, Pioneer Ministry licensing
7:30pm at St Mark's, (Map) with Bishop James Bell and worship led by members of the Northumbria community. Rev Peter Askew becomes Pioneer Minsiter to develop the youth cell network across the churches of Harrogate, and also across the northern half of the Anglican Diocese up to Teesdale, as well as being chaplain to St Aidan's school and weekend work with the Northumbria community. Saturday 30 September: Roll the Rock anniversary celebration
