3:00pm, Trinity: service of welcome to Rev Mark Godfrey, Rev Nick Whitham and Rev David Barker. The preacher, Rev Dr Elizabeth Smith, District Chair, noted how ministers were to be friends of God, reflecting his goodness and integrity, to be rooted in Christ and not alone, living the life of a prophet, one who is willing to speak out, following the manifesto of the prophet as in the scroll in Luke 4 and encouraging meeting this generation with the gospel.
