'Cargo is Paul Field's latest musical, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the end of the trans-Atlantic slave trade, but also raises awareness of the millions caught up in modern forms of slavery. Above all it shows how we can make a difference in similar ways to those used by ordinary people so long ago, by buying Fair Trade goods and petitioning Parliament.
'Written by Ivor Novello and award winning Composer Paul Field the powerful contemporary songs, narration, dance and images will take you on a journey from the work of William Wilberforce and the abolitionist movement two hundred years ago through to the struggle that continues today against the many forms of slavery that still exist'

2:00pm and 4:45pm at Trinity Methodist, conductor Rev Philip Barnett, Deganwy and organist Carey Williams, Y Bala. Most of the hymns are sung in Welsh, with four-part harmony for the willing or proficient, but the spoken part of the services is in both Welsh and English.
