Harrogate Deaf Church
As
well as induction loops in most churches (and some church halls) the needs
of the hard of hearing and the deaf are supported through this monthly
service for the deaf in the 'basement' of the Mayfield Community Church (previously EFC - Evangelical Free Church) (Map), usually
on the fourth Sunday of each month; services start at 1pm as from January 2006.
All hearing speakers are either experienced signers or have achieved level
2 and above in signing (CACDP certificate).

Please
check (01423 565681) before you arrive, as sometimes we visit other fellowships. This year (2007) we are starting with lunch, followed by an informal time of learning together around God's Word, led by different 'speakers'
Sunday 25 March 2007: starting at 2:00pm:
Prayers and Praise, Bible Reading and teaching, led by Kenneth Nuttall from Doncaster
Sunday 22 April 2007: Beginning at 1:00pm with a fellowship lunch. Bert Barritt of York will lead our time around God's Word following the meal approximately 2:00pm. Some who cannot come for the meal join us at this time. Please let us know if you are coming for lunch so we can cater.
