31 October - 2 November: Bilton Grange URC
Celebrating their 75th anniversary over the weekend. (Map)

Celebration Concert & Light Supper (free admission).
Saturday 1 November 10 - 4: Open Church plus Celebration Lunch from 12 noon (tickets for lunch £4)

1 November: Terry Waite
7:30pm at Wesley (Map). Terry Waite brings his story; Vincent Billington on piano. Tickets £5 on the door; more details: tel 01423 509917.

1 and 15 November: Anglican-Methodist Covenant
This welcome move of both the Anglican and Methodist churches to closer co-operation and loving unity meets a climax on Saturday 1 November as the Covenant document is signed. Local initiatives continue to bear the fruit of synergistic action, working together with the love and prayerful support of the wider church in the area. The prayers of all are most especially welcomed on the 1 November and beyond. More background available.

7, 8 & 9 November: Creation Series
...at Woodfield Gospel Hall from 7:30, 6pm Sunday, (Map) with Ian Campbell of South Shields Christian Fellowship.

Saturday 8 November: KC21 Network Leaders Meeting
With Derek Brown at the HOPE Centre, Albert Street, Harrogate, from 10am until 4pm. Derek Brown comes as a minister with past experience of the legal profession. His foundational ministry is based at the Kings Centre, Aldershot, Hampshire, which is the home of the KC21 churches in that region.
New Life church write to say that t
here are many apostolic teams and churches in this country and overseas that look to Derek for foundational input and ministry. His ministry has involved him in churches in other countries namely India, Sri Lanka, Portugal, Israel, Guatemala, Czech Republic, Nigeria, Germany and U.S.A. In reviewing his ministry recently Derek sensed that the Lord taking him back to his roots and confirming a vision that has been a backbone of his ministry. That vision is "Centres of Revival that are working models of Ephesians 4".
Cost £10 per person. An hour's break at 1pm is planned; many sandwich shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Bookings: Jenny Pearson at for further details.

7:30pm. Looking at communication with contributions from Jean McQuarry (Advertiser series), Rev John Carter (Anglican Diocesan Communications Officer), Phil Willis MP and others. All were welcome at West Park United Reformed Church, Map. A summary of the evening is now available.

14-15 November: On Fire: a Christian conference for all
Workshops, seminars, worship, Bible exploration, an exhibition and fringe events for all ages, at Ashville School, Harrogate, organised by the Methodist circuit here in Harrogate. Further details available on this website.

13, 14 & 15 November: Alice in Wonderland
at St Peter's. An early pantomine!

19 November: Starbeck Community - Improving Relations
The Starbeck Community Policeman has arranged a meeting at 7pm at St Andrews Church (Map). All local community groups are invited to discuss ideas for helping the young people of the village

23 November: Taizé Service
at St Mary's, Goldsborough (Map), 6pm. All most welcome to join in this occasional Taizé style service.

23 November: Leslie Houlden
Following a much appreciated visit last year, The Revd Professor Leslie Houlden will give a lecture at St Wilfrid's (Map) on The Gospel According to St Luke. To follow the 6:00pm Evensong at 6.45pm.

25 November: HYPeR AGM
at HYPeR, 8pm. All welcome to hear of the good work and to support its future medium term development.

28 November: KSHPI Day of Prayer
Meet at St Andrew's, Starbek (Map) from 10am to 1pm. Part organised by Knaresborough Community Church.

28 - 30 November: Grove Road Christmas Tree Festival (Map)
Programmes £1.00 at the door. Proceeds to HYPeR, Berwick Grange & church funds. Various events including:
Friday 28 November, 7.30 pm: Opening Service followed by Cheese & Wine (tickets £3.00).
Saturday 29 November, 7.30pm Concert by the Highside Singers from Kirkby Malzeard.
