as a national celebration of our regional food and drink, British
Food Fortnight events have been timed especially to coincide with
Harvest Festival services across Britain - promoted in the literature.

October: Faithworks Conference, Eastbourne
Faithworks
write to say that there is still time to join Tony Campolo, Jackie Pullinger,
Steve Chalke and hundreds of church leaders and individual Christians
who are eager to explore how they can have a 'faith for the 21st Century'.
Tony Campolo adds "No delegate to the Faithworks Conference will
go home without having been motivated and resourced to use whatever time
and faith they have to meet the needs of those around them". More

on Tuesday 28th October at 1:00pm for Fr Ted Swinnerton, formerly Vicar
of Barnacre with Calder Vale in the Diocese of Blackburn. Fr Ted exercised
a post-retirement minitry from St Wilfrid's and St Luke's.
