Harrogate Men's Forum is hosting a new series of talks from late September 2005 through April 2006.

The meetings take place each Thursday morning in St. Paul’s Church Hall, Belford Road (opposite the Central Library in Victoria Avenue) at 10.15. and concludes promptly at 11.30. Coffee and biscuits are served from 09.45 – 10.00.

A weekly charge of £1.00 and a small annual subscription are made to cover expenses.

Darley Amateur Radio Club is an Anglo-American Radio Club, based near Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, serving the needs of local amateur radio community.

We are a thriving Club with many activities, including contesting on HF, VHF & UHF, satellite operations (for instance voice and packet contacts with the old MIR space station) and more recently EME (moonbounce) with our club callsign G0FOS. Packet and DX cluster operations are also available from the shack.

The club also has a very active US exam testing program run by our dedicated team of volunteer examiners (VEs). We are the only club in the country to offer this facility. Why not take the unique opportunity of taking your US examinations, you do not need to be a club member to do this.

The Ripon & District Amateur Radio Societymeets every Thursday evening at 7.00 pm in the bunker situated beneath the rear garden of the Town Hall in the City of Ripon

Tuition and testing for the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced licences is available as well as testing for the US FCC examinations through Darley ARC.

The club welcomes visitors on any Thursday evening and actively encourages new members.
