Harrogate's premier crown green bowling club. Champions 1990, 1993, 1994,
1995, 1996
The Black Swan competes in three leagues the Harrogate League with four
teams playing Monday to Wednesday evenings, the Tadcaster League with two teams
on a Thursday evening and the Leeds League on a Saturday.
The club
also holds two annual competitions an open singles the Kitchen
Cup and a mixed pairs competition. Although this would indicate that we are
a very competitive club we have an active social bowling branch that meets most
afternoon's in the summer.
If you are moving to Harogate and need a club to join look no further. If
you are new and wish to take the game up please feel free to contact us. We are
a friendly club with a good social side and enjoy a pint after the game as well
as holding a number of internal club competitions and social occassions.
