Harrogate International Festivals is proud to present the Young Musician Jenna Sung as part of the 50th Harrogate Festival.

In his role as Guest Curator, Julian Lloyd Webber has selected the phenomenal young pianist Jenna Sung to take part in this year’s Young Musicians Series, described by Gramophone as ‘the talent of tomorrow – today’.

Sung performs a dramatic programme that showcases her unique style and technical prowess including Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit which is famous for its difficulty. As a result, the Scarbo movement is considered one of the most difficult solo piano pieces ever written. Performed alongside Mozart’s dramatic Sonata in C minor and Chopin’s terse Scherzo No. 3, this performance will have you on the edge of your seat.

Mozart Sonata in C minor K. 457
Chopin Barcarolle, Op. 60
Chopin Scherzo No. 3, Op. 39
Ravel Gaspard de la Nuit
Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No. 10

Tickets: £10. Available online: http://harrogateinternationalfestivals.com/whats-on/ ; over the phone on 01423 562 303; or in person at the Harrogate International Festivals Box Office, 32 Cheltenham Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1DB
