The desirable
outcomes are goals for learning, for children for when they enter
compulsory education.
There are six main outcomes
- 1. Personal & Social
Development - The nursery
help develop these skills through friendly interaction such as
games involving team work.
- 2. Language & Literacy
- The nursery will teach the basic skills to your child such as
the alphabet, word and sound association as well as basic
writing and recognition of words.
- 3. Mathematics
- The nursery will teach your child the basic number structure,
terminology and how to recognise and speak the numbers, this
will be done through various means such as constructive games.
- 4. Physical Development
- The nursery is well equipped to help your child's physical
development through various toys and equipment. And for the
older children there are even opportunities to go for walks and
play in the local park.
- 5. Creative Development
- There is every opportunity for your child to expand on their
creative impulses through art, imaginative play, cookery, music,
story telling and many other outlets.
- 6. Knowledge & Understanding
of the World - Children are
encouraged to talk about themselves and their every day life
sharing their experiences with the other children. They shown
about different animals through books and through pets that are
at the nursery. They are also given the opportunity to explore
their ideas even using technology where available.
