Fund Raising:
The Friends are an independent
local charity relying on people like you to ensure our work
can continue.
We support patients and staff
at the District Hospital and in the community, and we are a
bridge between health care staff and the community they serve.
We raise money to fund items
which the local NHS Trusts cannot fund immediately, if at all.
Money we hope YOU will help
us raise is allocated with scrupulous care. Requests from professional
staff are vetted by a specialist group.
We seek cases where a relatively
modest spend will deliver great benefits for patients and staff
