The total amount of equipment donated to the Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust and the NHS Primary Care Trust in 2006 was in excess of £47,000 with a further £30,000 for equipment ordered but not yet received. All items could not be provided from NHS resources and add greatly to patient comfort and dignity and/or staff effectiveness Listed below is just a selection of the 45 items purchased.

Heartfelt thanks for the bladder  scanner. We will be able to perform  a non-invasive procedure on our ladies whilst preserving their dignity.	The mattresses are now out in the community.  They free up much needed beds in the Acute Trust	The scales which bleep are very popular with toddlers who think there is a little mouse inside.
