The Home of North Yorkshire Performance Centre

Located centrally, just a few minutes from Harrogate town centre,

the club nestles at the end of a leafy cul de sac (opposite Nidd Vale garage) just off Leeds Road (A61).

As a result of a merger between Harrogate Sports Club which occupied the current site since the 1920’s and Low Harrogate Tennis club, formerly on Victoria Avenue, the club now offers one of the finest

tennis, badminton and table tennis facilities in the area.

HRC is recognised by Badminton England as a premier badminton facility and is working toward being a centre of excellence. The club has also recently completed the Lawn Tennis Association

Clubmark accreditation program.

Owned and run by members, the club is guided by a strong management team who are keen to build on the two former clubs distinguished history. Growing in membership year on year,

the club offers four wonderful (outside) carpet tennis courts (3 floodlit) which provide all year round play,

probably the best three badminton courts in Yorkshire,

plus a separate table tennis facility which now boasts seven teams in the local league.

The club has changing/shower rooms, licensed bar and catering facilities, offers an inclusive membership regardless of ability / experience, and offers a warm welcome to new members.

Private Hire

With prior arrangement the sports facilities are available for private hire

(schools, companies, visiting groups etc).
