The Tewit Youth Band is comprised of young people between the ages of 8 and 19 from the Harrogate District, the band plays around 30 concerts a year, both within the district and beyond and enjoys a high reputation, particularly among other musicians.

Our repertoire covers a wide variety of musical styles, from traditional and test brass pieces through TV and film themes to arrangements of popular tunes, together with marches especially written for the band.

We are self-supporting and fund-raising is always high on the agenda for the committee, made up of dedicated and long-suffering parents of players - both past and present.
However, we are fortunate to have the sponsorship of Belzona and The Arts Council for England.
