As little or as much as they wish. Once a year there is a social evening to
which all FRIENDS are invited. This is a free event which we put on to sat "Thank
you". And during each year there are other fund-raising events at which we
would welcome your support. Otherwise it is up to you. Many FRIENDS are users of
the free transport - either as individuals or as groups - and they go in as
such. Many homes and other "official" users are FRIENDS, as a way of
saying "thank you" to the organisation. FRIENDS also help on the
committee, or with individual fund-raising events. Some even raise funds
individually. All are welcome - and there is no obligation to take part. Joining
the FRIENDS just shows that you care and are pleased to be associated.
