The Yorkshire Association for the Disabled People reaffirms its Mission Statement 'committed to the care and personal fulfillment of people with physical disabilities', and its objective ' to ensure the substantial and active participation of disabled people in its membership, membership of the Managing Committee, also in the other committees of the Association, and in all activities sponsored, promoted, or organised by the Association'.
With a commitment to expanding its services throughout the county of Yorkshire, the Association will consult people with physical disabilities to discover their needs, and then, subject to financial constraints and with no detriment to the existing services, will endeavour to meet those needs.
The commitment of the Association is to provide a high quality service to all its users, and, if necessary, supplement State funded provision from its own funds.
