Diamond Jubilee Celebrations 1937 - 1997

1997 Diamond Jubilee Appeal

The Yorkshire Association For Disabled People is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee Year. Would you be willing to help us to commemorate our 60th Birthday in some way. We are seeking financial and practical support to commemorate the past and develop our services for the future. Perhaps you can help us to provide the following to complement our existing high quality range of services to people with disabilities

· New seaside accommodation for holiday and respite care

· Install a new Nurse call system in St George's House

· Commemorative gifts for our clients

There may be other ways in which you would be willing to help us make this year memorable for our clients:

· Sponsor a Diamond Jubilee Event

· Make a donation to support our appeal

· Give a gift to us through the Gift Aid Scheme

· Set up a Deed of Covenant in favour of YADP

· Pledge a legacy to the Association in your will

· Host a special event to raise funds

· Become a member and or friend of the Association

We offer high quality nursing, residential, day and respite care to 40 physically disabled people at St George's House Harrogate. Our Day Centre offers unique facilities in employment, occupation, social and day care services for up to 100 people with disabilities Monday - Friday. The Association also provides a county wide advocacy advice and information service in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire region for disabled people and their carers. Your support would enable us to do more. We would be most grateful if you can help us in the way you feel most appropriate for you.
